प्रसीद भगवन्‌ सोमे शापो<यं विनिवर्त्यताम्‌ । उनका वचन सुनकर देवता दक्षके पास जाकर बोले--'भगवन्‌! आप चन्द्रमापर प्रसन्न होइये और यह शाप हटा लीजिये

Transliteration

prasīda bhagavan some śāpo 'yaṁ vinivartyatām |

Translation

“ಪ್ರಸನ್ನನಾಗು, ಭಗವಾನ್ ಸೋಮ; ಈ ಶಾಪವು ನಿವೃತ್ತಿಯಾಗಲಿ.” ಅವರ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ದೇವತೆಗಳು ದಕ್ಷನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು—“ಪ್ರಭು! ಚಂದ್ರನ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನನಾಗಿ ಈ ಶಾಪವನ್ನು ಹಿಂತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.”
