द्वैपायनह्रदे दुर्योधनान्वेषणम् / The Search for Duryodhana at Dvaipāyana Lake
नापश्यत् समरे कंचित् सहायं रथिनां वर: । नर्दमानान् परान् दृष्टवा स्वबलस्य च संक्षयम्
sañjaya uvāca |
nāpaśyat samare kañcit sahāyaṁ rathināṁ varaḥ |
nardamānān parān dṛṣṭvā svabalasya ca saṁkṣayam, mahārāja |
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಮಹಾರಾಜ! ರಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನಾದ ದುರ್ಯೋಧನನು ಸಮರಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಸಹಾಯಕನನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನೂ ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಗರ್ಜಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ, ತನ್ನ ಸೇನೆಯ ಕ್ಷಯವನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿ, ಅವನು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಹತವಾದ ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಭಯದಿಂದ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋದನು.
