Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | tataḥ kruddhā mahārāja saubalasya padānugāḥ | tyaktvā jīvitam ākrande pāṇḍavān paryavārayan |

Translation

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಮಹಾರಾಜ! ಅನಂತರ ಸೌಬಲನ (ಶಕುನಿ) ಅನುಚರರು ಕ್ರೋಧದಿಂದ ಉರಿದು, ಜೀವಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿ, ಆ ಮಹಾಸಮರದ ಗದ್ದಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಂಡವರನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಸುತ್ತುವರಿದರು.
