तस्मिंस्तथा वर्तमाने युद्धे भीरुभयावहे । पूर्वाह्न चापि सम्प्राप्ते भास्करोदयनं प्रति
tasmiṁs tathā vartamāne yuddhe bhīru-bhayāvahe | pūrvāhṇe cāpi samprāpte bhāskarodayanaṁ prati, rājan |
ರಾಜನ್! ಭೀರುಗಳ ಭಯವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವ ಆ ಯುದ್ಧವು ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಪೂರ್ವಾಹ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯದತ್ತ ಕಾಲ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಅರ್ಜುನನಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿತರಾಗಿ ಗುರಿ ಹೊಡೆಯುವಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಪುಣರಾದ ಶತ್ರುಯೋಧರು—ಮರಣವನ್ನೇ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗುವ ಅಂತಿಮ ಮಿತಿಯೆಂದು ನಿಶ್ಚಯಿಸಿ—ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸೇನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮರಕ್ಕಿಳಿದರು.
