तेअत्र पृष्टा यथा ब्रूयुस्तत् कर्तव्यं तथा भवेत् | पूछनेपर वे विद्वान् हितैषी अपनी बुद्धिसे उसके कार्योंके मूल कारणका निश्चय करके जैसी सलाह दें, वैसा ही उसे करना चाहिये
te 'tra pṛṣṭā yathā brūyus tat kartavyaṃ tathā bhavet |
ಈ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಆ ವಿದ್ಯಾವಂತ ಹಿತೈಷಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ಮೂಲಕಾರಣವನ್ನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯಿಸಿ ಯಾವ ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡುವರೋ, ಅದನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
