Aśvatthāman’s Curse, Parikṣit’s Future, and the Mani’s Restitution
उक्तवत्यसि तीव्राणि वाक््यानि पुरुषोत्तमम् । क्षत्रधर्मानुरूपाणि तानि संस्मर्तुमहसि
ukta-vaty asi tīvrāṇi vākyāni puruṣottamam | kṣatra-dharmānurūpāṇi tāni saṁsmartum arhasi ||
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— “ನೀನು ಪುರುಷೋತ್ತಮನಿಗೆ (ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣನಿಗೆ) ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣ ವಚನಗಳನ್ನು ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದೆ; ಅವು ಕ್ಷಾತ್ರಧರ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಇಂದು ಅವನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವುದು ನಿನಗೆ ಯುಕ್ತ।”
