ते रथान् मेघसंकाशानास्थाय सह कृष्णया । प्रययुहष्टमनस इन्द्रप्रस्थं पुरोत्तमम्
te rathān meghasaṅkāśān āsthāya saha kṛṣṇayā | prayayur hṛṣṭamanasa indraprasthaṃ purottamam ||
ಅವರು ಮೇಘಸಂಕಾಶವಾದ ರಥಗಳನ್ನು ಏರಿ, ಕೃಷ್ಣಾ (ದ್ರೌಪದಿ)ಯೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಹರ್ಷಿತಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ನಗರಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಇಂದ್ರಪ್ರಸ್ಥದತ್ತ ಹೊರಟರು.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical ideal of rightful restoration and dignified conduct: after hardship, one proceeds with steadiness and legitimate purpose, supported by companions, toward a rightful seat of order (Indraprastha), suggesting dharma’s capacity to re-establish stability and honour.
The group departs in splendid, cloud-like chariots, with Draupadī accompanying them, and travels with uplifted spirits toward Indraprastha, described as the foremost city.
