Sabhā Parva, Adhyāya 68 — Pāṇḍavānāṃ Vanavāsa-prasthānaḥ; Duḥśāsana-nindā; Pāṇḍava-pratijñāḥ
द्रौपदीने बार-बार प्रेरित किया है, तो भी ये सभासद कुछ भी नहीं बोलते हैं; क्योंकि ये सब लोग द्रुपदकुमारीको धर्मके अनुसार जीती हुई समझते हैं ।।
tvaṃ tu kevala-bālyena dhārtarāṣṭra vidīryase | yad bravīṣi sabhā-madhye bālaḥ sthavira-bhāṣitam ||
ಕರ್ಣನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಓ ಧೃತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪುತ್ರಾ! ಕೇವಲ ಬಾಲ್ಯದಿಂದಲೇ ನೀನು ಹೀಗೆ ಉಕ್ಕಿ ಬರುತ್ತೀಯೆ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀನು ಬಾಲನಾಗಿಯೂ ಸಭಾಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿರಿಯರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಡುತ್ತೀಯೆ।
