स हि धर्म पुरस्कृत्य दीर्घदर्शी परं हितम्‌ । उभयो: पक्षयोरयुक्तिं वक्ष्यत्यर्थविनिश्वयम्‌

Transliteration

sa hi dharma-puraskṛtya dīrgha-darśī paraṁ hitam | ubhayoḥ pakṣayor ayuktiṁ vakṣyaty artha-viniścayam ||

Translation

ಅವನು ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಮುಂಚಿಟ್ಟು ದೂರದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಪರಮ ಹಿತವನ್ನು ಚಿಂತಿಸಿ, ಎರಡೂ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳಿಗೆ ಯುಕ್ತವಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ಣಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವನು.
