Rājasūyābhiṣeka-darśana: Duryodhana’s Observation of the Consecration

शैक्यं रुक्मसहस्रस्य बहुरत्नविभूषितम्‌ । शड्खप्रवरमादाय वासुदेवो5भिषिक्तवान्‌

Transliteration

śaikyaṃ rukma-sahasrasya bahu-ratna-vibhūṣitam | śaṅkha-pravaram ādāya vāsudevo 'bhiṣiktavān |

Translation

ದುರ್ಯೋಧನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಸಾವಿರ ಬಂಗಾರದ ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮಿತವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅನೇಕ ರತ್ನಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಒಂದು ಭವ್ಯ ಪಾತ್ರೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇತ್ತು. ಆ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಸಮುದ್ರಜಲವನ್ನು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಶಂಖದಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ವಾಸುದೇವ ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣನು ಯುಧಿಷ್ಠಿರನ ಅಭಿಷೇಕವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದನು.
