दुर्योधनस्य बलिवर्णनम् — Duryodhana’s Description of Tribute at the Rājasūya
अप्रह्ृष्टेन मनसा राजसूये महाक्रतौ । प्रेक्ष्य तामद्भुतामृद्धि जगाम गजसाह्दयम्
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: aprahṛṣṭena manasā rājasūye mahākratau | prekṣya tām adbhutām ṛddhiṁ jagāma gajasāhṛdayam, rājan |
ರಾಜಸೂಯ ಮಹಾಕ್ರತುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡರೂ ದುರ್ಯೋಧನನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಹರ್ಷಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅಸೂಯೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವಮಾನದಿಂದ ಭಾರವಾದ ಹೃದಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅವನು ಗಜಸಾಹ್ವಯವಾದ ಹಸ್ತಿನಾಪುರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟನು.
