सभा पर्व, अध्याय ३७ — युधिष्ठिरस्य भीष्मोपदेशः
Yudhiṣṭhira’s Consultation and Bhīṣma’s Counsel in the Assembly
बाला यूयं न जानीध्वं धर्म: सूक्ष्मो हि पाण्डवा: । अयं च स्मृत्यतिक्रान्तो ह्वापगेयो5ल्पदर्शन:
bālā yūyaṁ na jānīdhvaṁ dharmaḥ sūkṣmo hi pāṇḍavāḥ | ayaṁ ca smṛtyatikrānto hy āpageyo 'lpadarśanaḥ ||
ಶಿಶುಪಾಲನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಓ ಪಾಂಡವರೇ, ನೀವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಬಾಲಕರು; ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಅರಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಧರ್ಮವು ಅತಿ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ. ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ವೃದ್ಧಾಪ್ಯದಿಂದ ಸ್ಮೃತಿಭ್ರಷ್ಟನಾಗಿ, ವಿವೇಕದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಕ್ಷೀಣಿಸಿದೆ; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯೂ ಮಂದವಾಗಿದೆ.
