अर्जुनस्य दिग्विजयारम्भः — Arjuna Initiates the Northern Campaign and Secures Bhagadattta’s Tribute
अज्ञेनाज़ं समापीड्य बाहुभ्यामुभयोरपि । आवृत्य बाहुभिश्चापि उदरं च प्रचक्रतु:
ajñenāzaṃ samāpīḍya bāhubhyām ubhayor api | āvṛtya bāhubhiś cāpi udaraṃ ca pracakratuḥ ||
ಆ ವೇಳೆ ಅಶಿಕ್ಷಿತ ಗುದ್ದಾಟದ ತಾಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಎರಡೂ ಬಾಹುಗಳಿಂದ ಎದುರಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ಬಲವಾಗಿ ಒತ್ತಿದರು; ನಂತರ ಅಪ್ಪುಗೆಯಂತೆ ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಉದರವನ್ನು ಕೈಗಳಿಂದ ಬಿಗಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಮರುಳು-ಎಳೆತದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೋರಾಡಿದರು.
