Transliteration

dharmarāja uvāca | abhijāto 'si rājendra pitur vṛttena medhayā | anukrośena cānena sarvabhūteṣu bhārata ||

Translation

ಧರ್ಮರಾಜನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಓ ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ, ಓ ಭರತವಂಶಜ! ನಿನ್ನ ಸದುಪಚಾರ, ಮೇಧೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜೀವಿಗಳ ಮೇಲಿನ ಈ ಕರುಣೆಯಿಂದ ನೀ ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಸುಕುಲಜನ್ಮ—ಉತ್ತಮ ತಂದೆಯ ವಂಶಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯನೆಂದು ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದೀಯೆ.
