इस प्रकार श्रीमह्ाभारत गहाप्रस्थानिकपर्वमें द्रौपदी आदिका पतनविषयक दूसरा अध्याय पूरा हुआ ॥/ २ ॥ अपन क्ाा छा अर: तृतीयो<थध्याय: इन्द्र और धर्म आदिके साथ वार्तालाप
vaiśampāyana uvāca | tataḥ sannādayan śakro divaṃ bhūmiṃ ca sarvaśaḥ | rathenopayayau pārtham ārohety abravīc ca tam ||
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— “ನಂತರ ಶಕ್ರನು (ಇಂದ್ರನು) ಸ್ವರ್ಗಭೂಮಿಗಳನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಪ್ರತಿಧ್ವನಿಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಾ ರಥದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪಾರ್ಥನ (ಯುಧಿಷ್ಠಿರನ) ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, ‘ಕುಂತೀನಂದನ, ಈ ರಥವನ್ನು ಏರು’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.”
