असकृच्चापि मेधावी कृष्णद्वैपायनो मम । कथामेतां महाभाग कथयामास तत्त्ववित्,“महाभाग! परम बुद्धिमान् तत्त्ववेत्ता महर्षि श्रीकृष्णद्वैपायनने भी बारंबार मुझसे यही बात कही है
asakṛc cāpi medhāvī kṛṣṇadvaipāyano mama | kathām etāṃ mahābhāga kathayāmāsa tattvavit ||
ಹೇ ಮಹಾಭಾಗ! ಪರಮ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತನಾದ ತತ್ತ್ವಜ್ಞ ಮಹರ್ಷಿ ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣದ್ವೈಪಾಯನ (ವ್ಯಾಸ)ರೂ ಕೂಡ ಇದೇ ವೃತ್ತಾಂತವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಮರುಮರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
