षष्ट्या बिभेदाशु च वासुदेव- मनन्तरं फाल्गुमष्टभि श्व । फिर तेलके धोये और पक्षियोंके पंख लगाये गये
ṣaṣṭyā bibhedāśu ca vāsudevam | anantaraṃ phālgunaṃ aṣṭabhiḥ śaraiḥ ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಅವನು ಅರವತ್ತು ಬಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ವಾಸುದೇವನಂದನ ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣನನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಿಪ್ರವಾಗಿ ಭೇದಿಸಿ ಭಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಳಿಸಿದನು; ಅನಂತರ ಫಾಲ್ಗುನ ಅರ್ಜುನನ ಮೇಲೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಎಂಟು ಶರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾರಿಸಿದನು।
