घ्नतोस्तथान्योन्यमिषुप्रवेकै- रधनंजयस्याधिरयथेश्ष तत्र । उस समय वहाँ अर्जुन और कर्ण उत्तम बाणोंद्वारा एक-दूसरेको चोट पहुँचा रहे थे। उनके धनुष, प्रत्यंचा और हथेलीका संघर्ष बड़ा भयंकर होता जा रहा था और उससे उत्तमोत्तम बाण छूट रहे थे || ७३ $ ।।

ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಧನಂಜಯ ಅರ್ಜುನ ಮತ್ತು ಅಧಿರಥಪುತ್ರ ಕರ್ಣರು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ, ಭೇದಕ ಬಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ಪರಸ್ಪರರನ್ನು ಗಾಯಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು। ಬಿಲ್ಲು, ಜ್ಯಾ ಮತ್ತು ಕೈಗಳ ಘರ್ಷಣೆಯಿಂದ ಭಯಂಕರ ನಾದ ಎದ್ದಿತು; ಅದರಿಂದ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಬಾಣಗಳ ಮಳೆ ಸುರಿಯಿತು। ನಂತರ ಪಾಂಡವನು ಅಚಾನಕವಾಗಿ ಬಲವಾಗಿ ಜ್ಯಾವನ್ನು ಎಳೆದಾಗ, ಅದು ಘೋಷದೊಂದಿಗೆ ತುಂಡಾಯಿತು।
