घनान्धकारे वितते तमोनुदौ यथोदितौ तद्वदतीव रेजतु: । तदनन्तर जैसे पूर्व और पश्चिमकी हवाएँ एक-दूसरीको दबाती हैं, उसी प्रकार वे दोनों वीर एक-दूसरेके अस्त्रोंको अपने अस्त्रोंद्वारा नष्ट करके फैले हुए प्रगाढ़ अन्धकारमें उदित हुए सूर्य और चन्द्रमाके समान अत्यन्त प्रकाशित होने लगे

ಘನ ಅಂಧಕಾರವು ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಹರಡಿದಾಗ, ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ತಮೋನುದರು ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದಯಿಸಿದ ಸೂರ್ಯ-ಚಂದ್ರರಂತೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಪೂರ್ವ-ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಗಾಳಿಗಳು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಒತ್ತುವಂತೆ, ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ವೀರರು ಒಬ್ಬರ ಅಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬರು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಸ್ತ್ರಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ನಾಶಮಾಡುತ್ತ, ಆ ಗಾಢ ಅಂಧಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪುನಃ ದೀಪ್ತಿಮಂತರಾಗಿ ಹೊಳೆಯತೊಡಗಿದರು.
