मा व्यथां कुरु राधेय नैवं त्वय्युपपद्यते,'राधानन्दन! तुम खेद न करो, तुम्हें यह शोभा नहीं देता है। ये राजालोग भीमसेनके भयसे पीड़ित हो भागे जा रहे हैं। अपने भाइयोंकी मृत्युसे दु:खित हो राजा दुर्योधन भी किंकर्तव्यविमूढ़ हो गया है
mā vyathāṁ kuru rādhēya naivaṁ tvayy upapadyate |
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು: “ರಾಧೇಯ, ವ್ಯಥೆಪಡಬೇಡ; ಇಂತಹ ಮನೋನೊಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ತಕ್ಕದ್ದು ಅಲ್ಲ. ಭೀಮಸೇನನ ಭಯದಿಂದ ಪೀಡಿತರಾದ ಈ ರಾಜರೂ ಓಡಿಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಹೋದರರ ಮರಣಶೋಕದಿಂದ ದುಃಖಿತನಾದ ರಾಜ ದುರ್ಯೋಧನನೂ ‘ಇನ್ನು ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು?’ ಎಂದು ಚಿಂತಿಸಿ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯವಿಮೂಢನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.”
