नश्यमानमहं युक्त मन्येयमिति मे मतिः । “रणभूमिमें तुम्हें पाकर सारा क्षत्रियसमाज एक दिनमें नष्ट हो सकता है, ऐसा कहना मैं युक्तिसंगत मानता हूँ। मेरी तो ऐसी ही धारणा है |। ५० ई ।।
naśyamānam ahaṁ yuktaṁ manyeyam iti me matiḥ | seyaṁ pārtha camūr ghorā dhārtarāṣṭrasya saṁyuge ||
“ರಣಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಿದರೆ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕ್ಷತ್ರಿಯಸಮಾಜವು ಒಂದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಶವಾಗಬಹುದು—ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದು ಯುಕ್ತವೆಂದು ನನಗೆ ತೋರುತ್ತದೆ; ಇದೇ ನನ್ನ ದೃಢ ನಿಶ್ಚಯ.” ಇದೀಗ, ಓ ಪಾರ್ಥ, ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸಜ್ಜಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವ ಧೃತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪುತ್ರರ ಈ ಭಯಾನಕ ಸೇನೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡು.
