तदेव॑ समरे पार्थ वर्तमाने महाभये । भीमसेनं समासाद्य त्वां च पाण्डव कौरवा:
tad eva samare pārtha vartamāne mahābhaye | bhīmasenaṃ samāsādya tvāṃ ca pāṇḍava kauravāḥ ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಹೇ ಪಾರ್ಥ, ಮಹಾಭಯದ ನಡುವೆ ಸಮರ ಉಗ್ರವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಆ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲೇ, ಕೌರವರು ಭೀಮಸೇನನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುವರಿದು—ಹೇ ಪಾಂಡವ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಸಹ ಎದುರಿಸಿದರು।
