तथा ज्वलन्तमस्त्राग्निं गुरु सर्वधनुष्मताम्‌ । निर्दहन्तं च समरे दुर्धर्ष द्रोणममोजसा

Transliteration

tathā jvalantam astrāgniṁ guruṁ sarva-dhanuṣmatām | nirdahantaṁ ca samare durdharṣaṁ droṇam ojasā ||

Translation

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ದ್ರೋಣನು ಅಸ್ತ್ರಾಗ್ನಿಯಂತೆ ಜ್ವಲಿಸುತ್ತ, ಎಲ್ಲ ಧನುರ್ಧರರ ಗುರುವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸಮರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶತ್ರುಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ದಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು; ತನ್ನ ತೇಜಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಅವನು ದುರ್ಧರ್ಷನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
