Cosmic Spectatorship and Vows
महाराज! सब ओर भागनेवाले योद्धाओंके कारण आपके पुत्रोंकी वह विशाल सेना भयभीत और व्याकुल हो उठी ।।
tiṣṭha tiṣṭheti ca tataḥ sūtaputrasya jalpataḥ |
na avatiṣṭhati sā senā vadhyamānā mahātmabhiḥ ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಆಗ ಸೂತಪುತ್ರ ಕರ್ಣನು “ನಿಲ್ಲಿರಿ, ನಿಲ್ಲಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ಕೂಗುತ್ತಲೇ ಇದ್ದರೂ, ಮಹಾತ್ಮರಾದ ಪಾಂಡವರಿಂದ ಸಂಹರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಆ ಸೇನೆ ಏನೂ ನಿಲ್ಲಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಎಲ್ಲ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಯೋಧರು ಓಡಿಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ ನಿನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರರ ಆ ಮಹಾಸೇನೆ ಭಯಭೀತವಾಗಿ ವ್ಯಾಕುಲಗೊಂಡು, ವಧದ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನು ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾರದೆ ಹೋಯಿತು.
