कर्णपुत्रवधः (The Fall of Vṛṣasena) — Karṇa Parva, Adhyāya 62
तुरगैरग्रयरंहोभिययात्वा भीमस्य शुष्मिणौ | अनीकै: सहितौ तत्र भ्रातरौ समवस्थितौ
turagair agrayaṁhobhir yayātvā bhīmasya śuṣmiṇau | anīkaiḥ sahitau tatra bhrātarau samavasthitau ||
ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವೇಗವಂತವಾದ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಅಶ್ವಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಆರೂಢರಾದ ಉತ್ಸಾಹಿ ನಕುಲ ಮತ್ತು ವೀರ ಸಹದೇವ—ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಶತ್ರುನಾಶಕ ಸಹೋದರರು—ಭೀಮಸೇನನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಭೀಮನ ಯುದ್ಧವ್ಯೂಹಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಒಂದಾಗಿ ನಿಂತು, ಆ ಮಹಾಬಲಿಗಳು ರಣಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿದರು.
