परित्राह्ोनमभ्येत्य संशयं परमं गतम्
paritrāhoṇam abhyetya saṁśayaṁ paramaṁ gatam
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ರಕ್ಷಿಸಬೇಕಾದವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನು ಪರಮ ಸಂಶಯಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾದನು. ಯುದ್ಧದ ಗೊಂದಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ, ಏನು ಅಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ಎಂಬ ಅನಿಶ್ಚಿತತೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿತು; ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ತುರ್ತು ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ.
