कर्णस्य सेनापत्याभिषेकः | Karṇa’s Consecration as Commander-in-Chief
तथैव युधि विक्रान्तो मागध: परमास्त्रवित् भीष्मेण निहतो राजउ्शेतेड्द्य परवीरहा
tathaiva yudhi vikrānto māgadhaḥ paramāstravit | bhīṣmeṇa nihato rājann adya śete paravīrahā ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ರಾಜನೇ! ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಕ್ರಾಂತನಾಗಿ, ಪರಮಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಪುಣನಾಗಿ, ಶತ್ರುವೀರಹಂತಕನಾದ ಮಾಘಧ ವೀರನೂ ಭೀಷ್ಮನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಹತನಾಗಿ ಇಂದು ರಣಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
