Arjuna Breaks the Encirclement; Bhīma Reinforces
“कुन्तीकुमार! रणभूमिमें शत्रुसूदन कर्णके द्वारा खदेड़ा हुआ यह रथियोंका समूह सब ओर पलायन कर रहा है ।।
sañjaya uvāca | kuntīkumāra! raṇabhūmau śatrusūdana karṇena khāditaḥ (khādita iva) ayaṃ rathināṃ samūhaḥ sarvataḥ palāyate || hastikakṣyāṃ raṇe paśya carantīṃ tatra tatra ha | rathasthaṃ sūtaputrasya ketuṃ ketumatāṃ vara ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಓ ಕುಂತೀಕುಮಾರ! ರಣಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶತ್ರುಸೂದನ ಕರ್ಣನು ಹಿಂಡಿಹಾಕಿದ ಈ ರಥಿಗಳ ಗುಂಪು ಎಲ್ಲ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಗೂ ಪಲಾಯನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ। ಮತ್ತೂ ನೋಡು—ಆನೆಯ ಕಕ್ಷ್ಯಾ-ಕಯಿತು ಚಿಹ್ನೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಆ ಧ್ವಜವು ಯುದ್ಧರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ। ಓ ಧ್ವಜಧಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನೇ! ಸೂತಪುತ್ರ ಕರ್ಣನ ರಥದ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಆ ಕೇತುವನ್ನು ನೋಡು।
