अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

ततस्तौ रभसोौ युद्धे भ्रातरौ भ्रातरं युधि । शरैर्ववृषतुर्घोरैर्महामेघौ यथाचलम्,तत्पश्चात् जैसे दो महामेघ किसी पर्वतपर जलकी वर्षा करते हों, उसी प्रकार दोनों वेगशाली बन्धु नकुल और सहदेव भाई दुर्योधनपर युद्धमें भयंकर बाणोंकी वृष्टि करने लगे
tatas tau rabhasau yuddhe bhrātarau bhrātaraṃ yudhi | śarair vavṛṣatur ghorair mahāmeghau yathācalam ||
ನಂತರ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ವೇಗಶಾಲಿ ಸಹೋದರರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರನ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಭಯಂಕರ ಬಾಣವೃಷ್ಟಿ ಸುರಿಸಿದರು—ಎರಡು ಮಹಾಮೇಘಗಳು ಪರ್ವತದ ಮೇಲೆ ಧಾರಾಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಮಳೆ ಸುರಿಸುವಂತೆ.
