आकर्णपूर्णविशिखै: कर्ण विव्याध सप्तभि: । उन भल्लोंसे आहत हो भयंकर पराक्रमी महाबाहु भीमसेनने कर्णको भी कानतक खींचकर छोड़े गये सात बाणोंसे पीट दिया

Transliteration

ākarṇapūrṇaviśikhaiḥ karṇa vivyādha saptabhiḥ |

Translation

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಭಯಾನಕ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮದ ಮಹಾಬಾಹು ಭೀಮಸೇನನು ಕರ್ಣನನ್ನು ಕಿವಿವರೆಗೆ ಎಳೆದು ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಏಳು ಬಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಧಿಸಿದನು. ಆ ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣ ಶರಗಳಿಂದ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡ ಕರ್ಣನು ಕೂಡ ರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಒತ್ತಡಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾದನು.
