कर्णनिधनश्रवणम् — Hearing of Karṇa’s Fall and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Lament
तीर्णस्तत् पाण्डवो राजन् यत् पुरा नावबुध्यसे । उच्यमानो महाराज बन्धुभिह्ितकाडुक्षिभि:
tīrṇas tat pāṇḍavo rājan yat purā nāvabudhyase | ucyamāno mahārāja bandhubhir hitakāṅkṣibhiḥ ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಓ ರಾಜನೇ! ನೀನು ಹಿಂದೆ ಅರಿಯದೆ ಹೋದ ಆ ಅಪಾಯವನ್ನು ಪಾಂಡವನು ಈಗ ದಾಟಿಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಓ ಮಹಾರಾಜನೇ! ಹಿತವನ್ನು ಬಯಸುವ ಬಂಧುಗಳು ಹೇಳಿದರೂ ನೀನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
