Karṇa-vadha-pratyaya: Yudhiṣṭhira’s Verification of Karṇa’s Fall (कर्णवध-प्रत्ययः)

कबूतरके समान रंगवाले घोड़ोंसे युक्त और चन्द्रमा तथा सूर्यके समान तेजस्वी धनुर्धर वीर द्रुपदकुमार धृष्टद्युम्न वहाँ मूर्तिमान्‌ कालके समान जान पड़ते थे ।।

pārṣataṃ jugupuḥ sarve draupadeyā yuyutsavaḥ | divyavarmāyudhadharāḥ śārṭūlasamavikramāḥ ||

ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ಸುಕರಾದ ದ್ರೌಪದೆಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಪಾರ್ಷತ (ಧೃಷ್ಟದ್ಯುಮ್ನ)ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಸುತ್ತುವರಿದರು. ದಿವ್ಯ ಕವಚ-ಆಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ, ಅವರು ಶಾರ್ದೂಲಸಮ ವಿಕ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಮುಂದುವರಿದರು।
