कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
आरुरोह तदा स्थाणुर्धनुषा कम्पयन् परान् । तब विष्णु, चन्द्रमा और अग्निसे उत्पन्न हुए उस बाणको हाथमें लेकर महादेवजी अपने धनुषके द्वारा शत्रुओंको कम्पित करते हुए उस रथपर चढ़ गये
āruroha tadā sthāṇur dhanuṣā kampayan parān | tad viṣṇu-candra-māgni-sambhūtaṁ taṁ bāṇaṁ haste gṛhītvā mahādevaḥ sva-dhanuṣā śatrūn kampayan ratham ārūḍhavān ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— “ಆಗ ಸ್ಥಾಣು (ಶಿವ) ತನ್ನ ಧನುಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಪಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ ರಥವನ್ನು ಏರಿದನು. ವಿಷ್ಣು, ಚಂದ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಅಗ್ನಿಯಿಂದ ಉದ್ಭವಿಸಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಡುವ ಆ ಬಾಣವನ್ನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದು, ಮಹಾದೇವನು ತನ್ನ ಧನುಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಶತ್ರುಸೈನ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಹರಡಿದನು.”
