एको निवातकवचानहनद् दिव्यकार्मुक: । एक: किरातरूपेण स्थितं शर्वमयोधयत्,उन्होंने दिव्य धनुष धारण करके अकेले ही निवातकवचोंका संहार कर डाला और किरातरूप धारण करके खड़े हुए महादेवजीके साथ भी अकेले ही युद्ध किया
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca |
eko nivātakavacān ahanad divya-kārmukaḥ |
ekaḥ kirāta-rūpeṇa sthitaṃ śarvam ayodhayat ||
ಧೃತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ದಿವ್ಯ ಧನುಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಅವನು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ನಿವಾತಕವಚರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದನು; ಮತ್ತು ಕಿರಾತರೂಪವನ್ನು ತಾಳಿಕೊಂಡು ಎದುರು ನಿಂತ ಶರ್ವನ (ಶಿವನ) ಜೊತೆಯೂ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
