अभ्यवर्तन्त सहसा परीप्सन्तो नराधिपम्‌ । उसे संकटमें पड़ा देख कर्ण, अश्वत्थामा तथा कृपाचार्य आदि वीर अपने राजाकी रक्षा चाहते हुए सहसा युधिष्ठिरके सामने आ पहुँचे

abhyavartanta sahasā parīpsanto narādhipam |

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ರಾಜನು ಸಂಕಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಲುಕಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ಕರ್ಣ, ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥಾಮ, ಕೃಪಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಮೊದಲಾದ ವೀರರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಆಸೆಯಿಂದ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಯುಧಿಷ್ಠಿರನ ಎದುರಿಗೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿದರು.
