Adhyāya 17 — गजयुद्ध-वृत्तान्तः, सहदेव-दुःशासन-संघर्षः, नकुल-कर्ण-समागमः

इतीव भूयश्न सुहृद्धिरीरिता निशम्य वाच: सुमनास्ततोअर्जुन: | यथानुरूपं प्रतिपूज्य तं जनं जगाम संशप्तकसंघहा पुन:
itīva bhūyaś ca suhṛdbhir īritā niśamya vācaḥ sumanās tato 'rjunaḥ | yathānurūpaṃ pratipūjya taṃ janaṃ jagāma saṃśaptaka-saṅgha-hā punaḥ ||
ಹಿತೈಷಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ಪುನಃ ಪುನಃ ಹೇಳಿದ ಆ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅರ್ಜುನನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಶಾಂತವೂ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನವೂ ಆಯಿತು. ಸಂದರ್ಭಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಯಥೋಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಿ, ಅವನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಸಂಶಪ್ತಕರ ಗುಂಪನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಲು ಹೊರಟನು.
