अद्भुतं चाप्यचिन्त्यं च दृष्टवा कर्म तयो रणे । सिद्धचारणसंघानां विस्मय: समपद्यत,रणभूमिमें उन दोनोंके अद्भुत एवं अचिन्त्य कर्मको देखकर सिद्धों और चारणोंके समूहोंको बड़ा विस्मय हो रहा था
adbhutaṃ cāpy acintyaṃ ca dṛṣṭvā karma tayo raṇe | siddhacāraṇasaṅghānāṃ vismayaḥ samapadyata ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರ ಅದ್ಭುತವೂ ಅಚಿಂತ್ಯವೂ ಆದ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಸಿದ್ಧ-ಚಾರಣರ ಸಮೂಹಗಳು ವಿಸ್ಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾದವು.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights how extraordinary martial actions can transcend ordinary human expectation, drawing even celestial observers into wonder. Ethically, it underscores the epic theme that war reveals extreme capacities—courage, skill, and determination—while also reminding the listener that such power is being spent within a tragic conflict.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the deeds of two principal warriors fighting each other in this battle are so astonishing that Siddhas and Cāraṇas—heavenly witnesses—are amazed as they watch from above.
