मन्दवेगा नरा नागा बभूवुस्ते विचेतस: । शरैराशीविषस्पर्श्निर्भिन्ना: सव्यसाचिना

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | mandavegā narā nāgā babhūvus te vicetasaḥ | śarair āśīviṣasparśair bhinnāḥ savyasācinā ||

Translation

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಸವ್ಯಸಾಚಿ ಅರ್ಜುನನ ಬಾಣಗಳು ವಿಷಧರ ಸರ್ಪಸ್ಪರ್ಶದಂತೆ ಪ್ರಾಣಘಾತಕವಾಗಿದ್ದವು; ಅವು ತಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆಯೇ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರೂ ಆನೆಗಳೂ ಚೇತನ ತಪ್ಪಿದರು. ಅವರ ವೇಗ ಕುಂಠಿತವಾಗಿ, ಅವರು ವಿದೀರ್ಣರಾಗಿ ಚೂರುಚೂರಾದರು।
