Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Fainting and Questions Concerning Droṇa

हया: पराजिता: शीघ्रा भारद्वाजरथोद्वहा: । ते सम रुक्मरथे युक्ता नरवीरसमास्थिता:

Transliteration

dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca |

hayāḥ parājitāḥ śīghrā bhāradvāja-rathodvahāḥ |

te sama rukma-rathe yuktā nara-vīra-samāsthitāḥ ||

Translation

ಧೃತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಭಾರದ್ವಾಜನ ರಥವನ್ನು ಎಳೆದ ವೇಗಶಾಲಿ ಕುದುರೆಗಳು ಪರಾಜಿತವಾದವು. ಆದರೆ ಅದೇ ಕುದುರೆಗಳು ಸ್ವರ್ಣಾಲಂಕೃತ ರುಕ್ಮರಥಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಜೋಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು, ವೀರ ಯೋಧರ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿವೆ.
