ब्राह्मेणास्त्रेण चास्त्राणि हन्यमानानि संयुगे | मया द्रष्टासि सर्वेषां सैन्धवस्याभिरक्षिणाम्,जयद्रथके समस्त रक्षकोंद्वारा छोड़े हुए अस्त्रोंको मैं युद्धमें ब्रह्मास्त्रद्वारा काट डालूँगा, यह आप देखेंगे
arjuna uvāca | brāhmeṇāstreṇa cāstrāṇi hanyamānāni saṃyuge | mayā draṣṭāsi sarveṣāṃ saindhavasya abhirakṣiṇām ||
ಅರ್ಜುನನು ಹೇಳಿದರು— ಯುದ್ಧದ ಘೋರ ಸಂಧರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈಂಧವ (ಜಯದ್ರಥ)ನ ರಕ್ಷಕರು ಎಸೆಯುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ಅಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾಸ್ತ್ರದಿಂದ ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿ ನಿಷ್ಫಲಗೊಳಿಸುವೆನು; ಅದನ್ನು ನೀನು ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಕಾಣುವಿ।
