द्रोणानीक-व्यतिक्रमः — Kṛṣṇa–Arjuna Break Through Droṇa’s Array
धनुष्यस्त्रे च वीर्ये च प्राणे चैव तथौरसे,'पार्थ! ये पूर्व निश्चित छः महारथी धनुष, बाण, पराक्रम, प्राणशक्ति तथा मनोबलमें अत्यन्त असहा माने गये हैं। इन छः महारथियोंको जीते बिना जयद्रथको प्राप्त करना असम्भव है
dhanuṣy-astre ca vīrye ca prāṇe caiva tathaurase, pārtha! ye pūrva-niścitāḥ ṣaḍ mahārathī dhanuḥ-bāṇa-parākrama-prāṇaśakti-tathā manobalena atyantam asahā manyante. etān ṣaḍ mahārathīn ajitvā jayadrathaṁ prāptum aśakyam iti.
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಓ ಪಾರ್ಥ! ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲೇ ನಿಶ್ಚಿತಗೊಂಡ ಆ ಆರು ಮಹಾರಥರು ಧನುರ್ವಿದ್ಯೆ-ಶಸ್ತ್ರಪ್ರಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ, ಪರಾಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ, ಪ್ರಾಣಬಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವಕ್ಷಸ್ಥಲದ ಧೈರ್ಯ-ಸಂಕಲ್ಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಅಜೇಯರೆಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆ ಆರು ಜನರನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸದೆ ಜಯದ್ರಥನನ್ನು ತಲುಪುವುದು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯ.
