हिमावदातान् यः सिंहान् नखदंष्टायुधान् बली । निर्वीर्यास्तरसा कृत्वा विचकर्ष बबन्ध च
himāvadātān yaḥ siṁhān nakhadaṁṣṭrāyudhān balī | nirvīryās tarasā kṛtvā vicakarṣa babandha ca
ನಾರದನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ನಖದಂಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯುಧಗಳಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ ಹಿಮವರ್ಣದ ಸಿಂಹಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆ ಬಲವಂತನು ತನ್ನ ವೇಗದಿಂದ ಶಕ್ತಿಹೀನಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಎಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಕಟ್ಟಿಬಿಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
