शरौघेणाप्रमेयेण त्वरमाणो जिघांसया । सभरनुर्बाणकेयूरो बाहू समुकुर्ट शिर:

Transliteration

śaraughenāprameyeṇa tvaramāṇo jighāṃsayā | sabharanur bāṇakeyūro bāhū samukuṭaśiraḥ ||

Translation

ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಆಸೆಯಿಂದ ತ್ವರಿತನಾಗಿ ಅವನು ಅಪ್ರಮೇಯ ಬಾಣವೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ನಡುವೆ ಮುನ್ನಡೆದನು—ಬಿಲ್ಲು ಬಿಗಿದಿದ್ದು, ಭುಜಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಾಣಕೋಶಗಳು ಕೇಯೂರಗಳಂತೆ ಮಿನುಗುತ್ತ, ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮುಕುಟದಂತೆ ಶಿರಸ್ತ್ರಾಣ ಧರಿಸಿ.
