Adhyāya 40 (Book 7, Droṇa-parva): Abhimanyu’s Rapid Advance and Battlefield Disruption
प्रावादयन्त संहृष्टा: पाण्डूनां तत्र सैनिका: | अपश्यन् स्मयमानाश्न सौभद्रस्य विचेष्टितम्,पाण्डवोंके सैनिक वहाँ हर्षमें भरकर नाना प्रकारके सभी रणवाद्य बजाने लगे और मुसकराते हुए वे सुभद्राकुमारका पराक्रम देखने लगे
prāvādayanta saṁhṛṣṭāḥ pāṇḍūnāṁ tatra sainikāḥ | apaśyan smayamānāś ca saubhadrasya viceṣṭitam ||
ಆಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಂಡವರ ಸೈನಿಕರು ಹರ್ಷೋತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ನಾನಾವಿಧ ಯುದ್ಧವಾದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮೊಳಗಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ನಗುತ್ತಾ ಸೌಭದ್ರ (ಅಭಿಮನ್ಯು)ನ ವೀರಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿದರು॥
