दुःशासनो महाराज कश्मलं चाविशन्महत् | धनुषको कानतक खींचकर चलाये हुए उन बाणोंद्वारा, जिनका स्पर्श अग्निके समान दाहक था, गहरी चोट खाकर दु:ःशासन व्यथित हो रथकी बैठकमें बैठ गया। महाराज! उस समय उसे भारी मूर्च्छा आ गयी

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಮಹಾರಾಜ, ದುಃಶಾಸನನನ್ನು ಮಹಾ ಕಶ್ಮಲವೂ ಮೂರ್ಚ್ಛೆಯೂ ಆವರಿಸಿತು. ಧನುಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಎಳೆದು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದ, ಸ್ಪರ್ಶಕ್ಕೆ ಅಗ್ನಿಯಂತೆ ದಹಿಸುವ ಬಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ಅವನು ಆಳವಾಗಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡನು; ವೇದನೆಯಿಂದ ಕಂಗೆಟ್ಟು ರಥದ ಆಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಸಿದು ಕೂತನು, ಆ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲೇ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಭಾರೀ ಮೂರ್ಚ್ಛೆ ಬಂತು.
