Abhimanyu’s Prowess and the Duḥśāsana Engagement
क्षुपप्रैर्वत्सदन्तैश्व विपाठैश्व महायशा: । नाराचैरर्थचन्द्रा भैर्भल्लैररजलिकैरपि,उस महायशणस्वी वीरने द्रोणाचार्यके देखते-देखते उनकी रथसेनापर क्षुरप्र, वत्सदन्त, विपाठ, नाराच, अर्धचन्द्राकार बाण, भल्ल एवं अंजलिक आदिकी वर्षा आरम्भ कर दी। इससे उन बाणोंद्वारा पीड़ित हुई वह सेना युद्धले विमुख होकर भाग चली

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಮಹಾಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾದ ಆ ವೀರನು ದ್ರೋಣಾಚಾರ್ಯರು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆಯೇ ಅವರ ರಥಸೈನ್ಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕ್ಷುರಪ್ರ, ವತ್ಸದಂತ, ವಿಪಾಠ, ನಾರಾಚ, ಅರ್ಧಚಂದ್ರಾಕಾರದ ಬಾಣಗಳು, ಭಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂಜಲಿಕ ಮುಂತಾದ ಅನೇಕ ವಿಧದ ಬಾಣವೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದನು. ಆ ಬಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ಪೀಡಿತವಾದ ಸೇನೆ ಯುದ್ಧದಿಂದ ವಿಮುಖವಾಗಿ ಓಡಿಹೋಯಿತು.
