ततः सत्यजितं ती&णैर्दशभिर्मर्म भेदिभि: । अविध्यच्छीघ्रमाचार्यश्छित्त्वास्य सशरं धनु:,तदनन्तर आचार्यने सत्यजितके बाणसहित धनुषको काटकर मर्मस्थलको विदीर्ण करनेवाले दस पैने बाणोंद्वारा उसे शीघ्र ही घायल कर दिया

Transliteration

tataḥ satyajitaṁ tīrṇair daśabhir marma-bhedibhiḥ | avidhyac chīghram ācāryaś chittvāsya saśaraṁ dhanuḥ ||

Translation

ನಂತರ ಆಚಾರ್ಯ ದ್ರೋಣನು ಮೊದಲು ಸತ್ಯಜಿತನ ಬಾಣসহಿತ ಧನುಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿ, ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಮರ್ಮಸ್ಥಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಭೇದಿಸುವ ಹತ್ತು ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣ ಬಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಳಿಸಿದನು.
