भगवंस्तन्ममाचक्ष्व को वै स पुरुषोत्तम: । शूलपाणिम्मया दृष्टस्तेजसा सूर्यसंनिभ:,भगवन्! मुझे बताइये, वे महापुरुष कौन थे? मैंने उन्हें हाथमें त्रिशूल लिये देखा था। वे सूर्यके समान तेजस्वी थे
bhagavaṁs tan mamācakṣva ko vai sa puruṣottamaḥ | śūlapāṇiṁ mayā dṛṣṭas tejasā sūryasaṁnibhaḥ ||
ಭಗವನ್! ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ನನಗೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿರಿ—ಆ ಪುರುಷೋತ್ತಮನು ಯಾರು? ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ತ್ರಿಶೂಲ ಧರಿಸಿದವನಾಗಿ ಕಂಡೆ; ಅವನು ಸೂರ್ಯನಂತೆ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
