ईदृशश्व महादेवो भूयांश्न भगवानज: । न हि सर्वे मया शक्‍्या वक्तुं भगवतो गुणा:

Transliteration

īdṛśaś ca mahādevo bhūyāṁś ca bhagavān ajaḥ | na hi sarve mayā śakyā vaktuṁ bhagavato guṇāḥ ||

Translation

ವ್ಯಾಸನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಇಂತಹವನೇ ಮಹಾದೇವನು—ಸದಾ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಮಹಾನ್, ಭಗವಾನ್, ಅಜನ್ಮ. ಆ ಪ್ರಭುವಿನ ಎಲ್ಲ ಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ವರ್ಣಿಸುವುದು ನನಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.
