ततस्तुमुलमाकाशे शरवर्षमजायत । पावकार्चि: परीतं तत् पार्थमेवाभिपुप्लुवे,फिर तो आकाशमें बाणोंकी भयंकर वर्षा होने लगी और सब ओर फैली हुई आगकी लपटें अर्जुनपर ही टूट पड़ीं
tatas tumulam ākāśe śaravarṣam ajāyata | pāvakārciḥ parītaṃ tat pārtham evābhipupluve ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಅನಂತರ ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಭೀಕರವಾದ ತುಮುಲ ಶರವೃಷ್ಟಿ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು. ಪಾವಕದ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಗಳಿಂದ ಆವೃತವಾದ ಆ ಆಕ್ರಮಣವು ಉಕ್ಕಿ ಬಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಪಾರ್ಥನ (ಅರ್ಜುನನ) ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಬೀಳಿತು।
संजय उवाच
